Facing directly onto the banks of the Swan River, SRRC’s function room opens onto an outdoor balcony space and takes in beautiful views up the river and through to the city skyline.

Tailored To You
SRRC does not have set arrangements with caterers or other event suppliers which allows venue hirers to maintain complete autonomy over how they design their functions. From relaxed, budget-friendly get togethers to more formal occasions such as weddings, the format, style and choice of event partners is completely your choice.
Relaxed, Intimate Space
Our tastefully decorated function room can be personally styled to suit individual events, themes and budgets. Featuring a neutral colour palette and charming exposed timber rafters, the space provides a relaxed and intimate backdrop in which to fully customise your wedding, party or other event. With capacity inside for 85 seated guests, or up to 150 people for cocktail style functions, the room also opens onto a large balcony capable of holding around 50 people.
Easily Accessible
Just ten minutes from Perth’s CBD, SRRC is close to Canning Bridge train station as well as nearby bus stops. We have paid, onsite parking for 30 cars with additional parking available at nearby hotels if required. Our function room features its own entrance, separate from the rest of the club and there is also an elevator for wheelchair-friendly access to the space.
Over 200 years of rowing, socialising and friendship on the beautiful Swan River.
The Swan River Rowing Club is the second oldest club in Western Australia and has a proud heritage dating back to 1885. The club is built on the foundations of promoting and encouraging the sport of rowing and has produced many international level athletes, including seven who represented Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. SRRC enjoys a healthy and active membership encompassing both rowers and social members and aims to provide an inclusive environment for all members regardless of age, gender and competence. In addition to our rowing regattas, SRRC hosts a number of social events throughout the year including monthly steak nights, weekend breakfasts and an annual dinner. The club offers various levels of membership and also runs popular corporate programs that enable companies to participate in team building activities designed to foster resilience, commitment and the development of robust working relationships. The club is managed by a committee which includes a designated member responsible for the coordination of venue hire activities and communication with hirers.

SRRC’s venue hire pricing allows event organisers to select the time and day that best suits them and with pricing tailored to available time slots. The following table details our prices which include full use of the function room, balcony, rest rooms, kitchen and the club’s tables and chairs. Bar facilities are also available to hire for additional fees. All other event services such as catering, beverage supply, entertainment, music, styling, specialty place settings and decorations are arranged directly by hirers themselves however we can provide recommendations on reputable Perth event suppliers if required. SRRC offers generous discounts on venue hire rates for existing members of our club.

$700 for a half day (10am to 4pm) or an evening only (6pm to midnight and vacate by 1.30am)
$900 for a part day & evening (2pm to midnight and vacate by 1.30am)
$1200 for a full day & evening (10am to midnight and vacate by 1.30am)

$1400 for a full day & evening (10am to midnight and vacate by 1.30am)
Saturday
$1900 for a full day & evening (10am to midnight & vacate by 1.30am)

Our Location
